The Challenge
Traditional parking operations require massive capital investments in ticket kiosks, physical security gates, and mobile app development. Drivers hate downloading bloated apps or standing in lines to pay at machines. The client needed a contactless, app-free digital solution that allows lot operators to manage spaces and accept payments using simple signboards.
Key technical requirements included high-speed checkout (sub-10 seconds) on mobile web browsers, dynamic QR code mapping for thousands of individual spaces, and real-time dashboard analytics displaying lot occupancy and revenues.
The Solution
We engineered a mobile-first checkout engine. When drivers scan a QR code posted on a lot space, our routing engine identifies the location ID instantly and serves a highly optimized, lightweight mobile web form. There are no logins or app downloads required.
We integrated Stripe SDKs supporting Apple Pay, Google Pay, and link payments to reduce checkout time to under 5 seconds. The backend triggers a push notification to parking enforcement dashboards when payments occur, mapping vehicle plates automatically to verify compliance.
